Just a click (and a few states) away

Ah, Fall. A season of change, with many young adults heading off across the state or even across the country. Perhaps your loved one is heading off to college or a new adventure, or maybe you are the one setting out. This might be the first time moving away from home, or perhaps there is something about this particular moment in time you’d like to team up about on the journey(s) from home to new home.

Since psychologists can only provide psychotherapy sessions to clients located in a state where they themselves are licensed, often this means switching back and forth between two psychologists between school year and summer or taking inopportune breaks from therapy over summer, holidays, or leaves from school.

With the authority to practice interjurisdictional/interstate psychology (APIT) granted through PSYPACT, I can meet virtually (and in person in Bellevue, WA) with you or your loved one and stay connected whether in Washington State or one of the other PSYPACT states]. This offers us a chance to continue our therapeutic work whether at home or away within any of the states that have opted into PSYPACT. If this would be helpful to you or someone you know, I’d love to connect and see if I would be a good fit. Take care.
